Terms of Service

Last updated: July 26, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Eventi service ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Service. If you purchase an event on behalf of someone else, you are responsible for making them aware of these terms.

2. Description of the Service

Eventi is a digital guestbook and photo-sharing platform for weddings, parties, and other events. When you purchase an event, we create a private gallery and a unique QR code for it. Guests who scan the QR code can upload photos and videos, record voice messages, and leave written guestbook entries directly from their phone's browser, without creating an account. The features available depend on the package you purchase.

3. Event Duration and Upload Window

Each event is active for 7 days from the event date you choose when setting it up. Guests can upload content from the moment your event is created until 7 days after the chosen event date, at which point the upload window closes automatically.

After the upload window closes, guests can no longer add new content. Your gallery, including everything that has been uploaded, remains available to you for 12 months from the event date (see Data Retention and Deletion below), so you have plenty of time to view, share, and download your memories.

If you need a different upload window for your event, contact us and we will do our best to help.

4. Accounts and Sign-in

You sign in to Eventi using a secure link sent to your email address — no password is required. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure, since anyone with access to your email can access your Eventi account. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

5. Purchases, Payment, and Delivery

Events are purchased as one-time packages. All prices are shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider; Eventi never stores your card details. Your event and gallery are made available immediately after your purchase is completed, and your sign-in details are sent to the email address you provide.

6. Right of Withdrawal for Digital Products

When you purchase a digital product from us that is delivered immediately, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply once delivery has begun. By completing your purchase, you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you thereby waive your right of withdrawal, in accordance with Chapter 2, Section 11 of the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (distansavtalslagen).

7. Your Content

You and your guests retain full ownership of the photos, videos, voice messages, and texts uploaded to the Service ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant Eventi a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service — for example displaying it in your gallery, generating thumbnails, and preparing downloads. We never sell User Content or use it for advertising.

As the event host, you can remove any content from your gallery at any time. You are responsible for the event you create, including informing your guests that content they upload will be visible to others with access to the gallery.

8. Guest Contributions

Guests do not need an account to contribute to an event. By uploading content, guests confirm that they own the content or have the right to share it, and that they have the consent of any identifiable persons appearing in it. Content that is illegal, offensive, or infringes third-party rights may be removed without notice.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Eventi for any unlawful purpose or in any way that interrupts, damages, or impairs the Service. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Uploading content that is illegal, hateful, pornographic, or infringes the rights of others
  • Uploading malicious code or attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Impersonating other people or entities
  • Collecting personal data about other users or guests without consent
  • Reselling or commercially exploiting the Service without our written permission

10. Intellectual Property

The Service itself — including its design, code, features, and branding — is owned by Eventi and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms gives you any right to use the Eventi name or branding.

11. Data Retention and Deletion

Your gallery and all uploaded content are retained for 12 months from the event date. We will remind you before your gallery expires so you have time to download your content. After the retention period, content is permanently deleted from our systems and cannot be recovered. You may request earlier deletion of your event and its content at any time by contacting us.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service without prior notice if you materially breach these terms. Where reasonable, we will give you the opportunity to download your content before your event is removed. You may stop using the Service at any time; fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

13. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eventi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

We recommend that you download your content well before your gallery expires. While we take care to safeguard your content, Eventi is not a permanent archiving service.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will give at least 30 days' notice — for example by email or a notice in the Service — before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes shall be resolved by Swedish courts, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise. As a consumer in the EU, you may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution (ODR) platform.
